Technology has the potential to drive a health sector transformation, but we need a mindset shift to achieve this.
We will need new models and mechanisms for development of policy and regulation. More equitable and tailored health care and prevention services will also be needed, with digital technologies as enablers, but they pose a challenge to policy and regulation that can't keep up with the pace of innovation. How can regulatory systems adapt to the changes swiftly enough? Part of the answer is to take action today.
